DataBeNice LLC (the “Company”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users.  Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.

For purposes of this Agreement:

“Site” refers to the Company’s Website.  

“Apps” refers to any of our mobile applications, which can be found on the Apple App Store®, including Calendar Notes - Pencil it in!. 

“Service” refers to the Company’s services accessed via the Site or Apps. 

The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the Company.  “You” and “Your” refers to you, as a user of our Site or Apps.

By accessing our Site or Apps, you accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks.  Personal information is not directly collected by the Service, but if you email support, certain Personal Information is shared, including your email address, and possibly your name or other personal information that you disclose in the email. 

Data Usage

We use the collected data for the following purposes: to provide the service, to improve product development, to fix bugs, and to drive business decisions. 

• In-App Purchases: we use RevenueCat to facilitate in-app purchases.

• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized and aggregated data about app usage. This includes information about app sessions, user interactions, and geographic location. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to help analyze this data.  We use this information to:

  • Understand how users interact with our app and identify areas of improvement.

  • Analyze trends to enhance the user experience and optimize app functionality.

  • Monitor the performance of our app and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Crashlytics: we  use Google Crashlytics to monitor app crashes.

Google Analytics

Our app uses Google Analytics to collect usage data, which involves the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies. The information generated by these cookies is transmitted to and stored by Google. Google Analytics helps us understand app usage patterns and user behavior, but no personally identifiable information is included in this data.

RevenueCat

In-app purchases are processed and managed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat's processing of transaction data is subject to its own privacy practices, which can be found here: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties. However, the anonymized and aggregated data collected through Google Analytics may be shared with our partners and service providers for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

You can either approve or reject Google Analytics tracking from the consent form displayed within the app.  If you change your mind later, you can update the setting within the App's settings.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of data transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page along with the effective date.
